Here are three of my top REITs to buy today:
Alexandria Real Estate (ARE REIT) is a REIT that invests in life science buildings. Some of its biggest tenants are companies like Moderna and Pfizer. It enjoys rapidly growing rents, has a strong investment grade rated balance sheet, and one of the best track records in the REIT sector, and despite that, it is today heavily discounted.

BSR REIT (BSRTF / HOM.U) is an apartment REIT that focuses on Texan markets like Dallas, Houston, and Austin. It is similar to Whitestone REIT which we have previously highlighted in that it focuses on sunbelt markets and it benefits from the same growth. Its occupancy rates are high and its rents are growing at a good pace. BSR is priced at a 40% dividend yield and it pays a 4% dividend yield.

Vonovia (VNA Stock) is a listed real estate company that owns apartment communities mainly in Germany, but also in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe. It is a blue chip with a defensive cash flow, a strong balance sheet, and a great track record. But it is currently priced at a large discount to its net asset value. Its latest share price is €17 per share but its latest NAV is around €55.
