Blackstone (BX stock) just announced a $10 billion dollar investment to buy out a real estate investment trust called Apartment Income REIT (AIRC). This is big news because they are the biggest commercial real estate landlord in the world and it tells you that REITs are undervalued. They have bought $40 billion worth of REITs during this bear market. This includes Tricon Residential (TCN), American Campus Communities (ACC), and PS Business Parks (PSB).
