Zillow’s 2024 Housing Market Forecast: More Homes For Sale, Price to Fall

Zillow just announced their 2024 housing market forecast and they are predicting that more homeowners will decide to list their homes for sale, giving homebuyers more options and housing affordability improving. Zillow’s real estate market predictions also call for home values to fall in 2024.

They are also forecasting that existing home sales in 2023 will fall to 4.1M homes, a 15-year low (i.e. the lowest levels seen since 2008).

To give you a quick mortgage interest rates update, according to the Mortgage News Daily the average 30yr fixed rate mortgage is around 7.4% for the current mortgage rates for people with exceptional credit (at the time of filming this video).
