Behind The Scenes Of An Alleged $35M Fraud: The Matt Onofrio Story

Today we are taking you behind the scenes on a breaking story: Matt Onofrio's alleged $35M fraud.

This week Matt Onofrio was indicted for allegedly defrauding banks and investors of $35M. The real estate guru claimed to have the secret recipe for real estate investing. And prosecutors are claiming that the "secret" was misguiding inexperienced investors and misleading banks.

Now, this is an especially interesting piece of news to us at Multifamily Investing Made Simple... because we know Matt. Obviously, we were not, and are not, involved in this case or his alleged actions.

Dan and Anthony knew Matt before he even got into the real estate game. This was a man who told them his goal was to have a net worth of over $1M, and not a few years later claimed to be worth over $150M.

His whole rise to fame and success never quite added up to Dan "the numbers" Man. And now it appears to all make sense.
