We are a team of land-use consultants who make complex city zoning laws easy to understand by telling you what type of housing you can build. Previously, we provided reports, but we are now thrilled to announce the launch of two maps. The first map will automate the calculation of buildable square footage for properties that are qualified under SB-9, the new California housing bill that permits the construction of up to four units in six million single-family homes. The second map will identify multifamily development sites where developers can double the base density and reduce the time required to build affordable housing. Our goal is to simplify the process for homeowners to construct housing on their land and make it easier for developers to locate suitable sites for infill multifamily projects. As we are aware, the nation is grappling with a housing crisis, with a growing number of people experiencing homelessness due to the scarcity of affordable housing. In California, cities are facing compliance issues and are now subject to builder's remedy, meaning they cannot reject any housing projects that meet the 20% affordable requirement. The entire process is broken and we're here to help educate and accelerate building housing.
