Based on my own analysis of the California Association of Realtors’ (CAR) data 84% of the counties that CAR tracks posted a year-over-year decrease in the median sold price. Also, only SIX counties have experienced an increase from a year ago! In today’s California real estate market update, I will share a report at the county level because there’s some very big differences regarding home price changes, housing inventory, sales and more. To give you a quick mortgage interest rates update, according to the Mortgage News Daily the average 30yr fixed rate mortgage is around 6.6% for the current mortgage rates (at the time of filming this video for those with excellent credit).
