ASX losing streak snapped, average property sale gains reach record high | Finance Report

The Australian share market has snapped its seven-day losing streak as gains in bank and retailer stocks drove ASX to gain 0.8 per cent. New CoreLogic figures show median gains from selling real estate has reached a record high of $295,000, while the gap between the average house price and capacity to pay also notched a new record level.
