The Bank of Canada confirms rate hikes ending soon! Tiff Macklem in a speech to the Canadian Senate said that the Bank of Canada’s interest rate hikes are ending soon. It is probably starting to sound like a broken record but inventory levels in the Toronto real estate market continues to be critically low. Earlier this year it was the number of homes for sale that was critically low, now it is the number of homes available for rent. The Canadian government has released its new immigration targets which will see 500,000 new Canadians being welcomed to Canada per year by 2025. To combat the housing crisis in the Ontario real estate market the government of Ontario has introduced the More Homes, Build Faster Act.
