Corelogic Just Flipped: NEW Housing Market Forecast

Corelogic flipped because for the first time since March, they revised upward their 12-month housing market forecast and real estate predictions. They also reported that home prices are down from one year ago (Oct 2022 - Octt 2023) in 4 states. This is an improvement from the 8 states in August 2023 that were down from August 2022. The difference is mainly due to prices falling much faster in the summer and Fall months last year compared to this year as well as limited inventory of existing houses on a national level.

In today’s housing market forecast summary, I share all the details as well as the 5 U.S. markets Corelogic believes will most likely see home prices decline over the next 12 months.

To give you a quick mortgage interest rates update, according to the Mortgage News Daily the average 30yr fixed rate mortgage is around 7.1% for the current mortgage rates (at the time of filming this video for those with excellent credit).
