Could the worst for Canada’s real estate market be over? RBC chief Robert Hogue thinks we are seeing trends in the Canadian real estate market that show that. CIBC chief economist Benjamin Tal says that there is not a Canadian real estate crash right now and that the recent softening should not be seen as a crash but a softening of the market. First National, Canada’s largest non-bank lender says they are not seeing distressed home owners or delinquency rising among variable rate mortgage holders.
