Homebuilders Expect Sales to Improve in 2026 as Interest Rates Fall

However, sales expectations for the next six months rose one point to 52, indicating a positive outlook about the first half of 2026

The use of price cuts remained prevalent this month, with 40% of builders reported cutting prices in December.
