Israeli investors fuelling housing crisis in central Athens

Former CIA officer John Kiriakou tells MEE that Israeli investors are fueling the housing crisis in Athens. 

Kiriakou explains that these investors are converting residential buildings into largely vacant tourist accommodations, which drives up real estate prices and makes it increasingly difficult for local residents to afford housing in the capital.
