Landlords in New York City are facing off against tenants who have refused to pay rent for the last year and been under a rent strike.
The tenants claim the landlords aren’t making necessary repairs, but the landlord say that the tenants won’t allow them access to make those repairs.
The landlord filed eviction against the tenants and say that this will actually help the tenants because it will allow them to set up a payment plan and prepare a list of repairs that need to be completed.
