What is a REIT? A Real Estate Investment Trust or better known as a REIT is a more affordable and passive way to invest in real estate. I've seen some REITs for as little or less than $100. It's a great way to invest and diversify without having to become a home owner and without having to be a landlord. You also don't have to front the down payment or change any toilet seats. There are a lot of benefits that come with owning a REIT.
