In this episode of "The Mark Moss Show" from iHeart Media, I brought on Rob Simone. Rob works with Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and has a good understanding of issues related to the economy, mortgage-backed securities, and REITs. We discuss the problems that have happened in the banking crisis with Silicon Valley Bank and other banks. We also break down the different types of REITs, which include equity and debt REITs, and how they split the real estate market in half. We talk about how property owners tend to focus on a couple of markets and learn them intimately to gain an edge over less experienced investors.
